Jenny Pennywood, a textile studio founded by fine artist Jen Garrido, launched a collection of overdyed bandanas and scarves at the end of 2020. The pieces were showcased using “out of the box” styling, visually illustrating the “many more ways” one can wear a traditional neck piece. The aesthetic for on figure was inspired by and drawn from the artist herself - her relationship with color, texture, and environment. Shot in her studio, and reflecting a taste for the apparel worn in the artists every day life. The collection found immediate success selling out within the first two days of its launch.
